Sir,

I'd want to express my serious concerns about abuse towards women through the articles of your widely circulated newspaper. Violent crime is always a cause for concern. However, there have been a number of recent situations in which women have been targeted. There really is no age category of women who are assaulted in their homes or in public. In any section of our country, a first-grade student and an elderly woman can be harassed and humiliated. Women in both rural and urban areas are equally vulnerable. However, simply protesting against the brutality is insufficient. We must never lose sight of the fact that females are the backbone of any civilization. Insulting them is a recipe for disaster. Equal attention must be given to both genders in a well-balanced society. I'm pleading with all of mankind to put an end to this violence and allow women to breathe freely. Let us hope that the people will agree with me and that we will be able to wait
